Thiruvalluvar, a great saint poet who lived about 2000 years ago, expressed human virtues through his 'couplets' (2 line sayings). His preachings do not connote any caste, community, class, religion, god or goddesses. Respected by one and all across the world, his persona is a beacon to human society for all times. As a token of respect to this legendary saint poet. his statue is being unveiled in the city of bangalore today.
